Dear Friend you recollect I spoke to you not long since regarding a small remittance to my mother should this find you in St. Louis you will apply to Mr. Fontinelle for $200 and Capt. Steward will have it done through his banker in Europe or better & more advantageous terms that you can you will please give him every instruction or information regarding the address of my family.
PS. I would write to you more fully but I didnt I have not time you will please excuse me to Milton also to say perhaps he may see me this winter. T.F.
You may say to my mother I will make her a donation every year so long as she lives.
