Kansas May 12th 1833

Having or expecting to have, funds to be disposed of in this country I think it right to have this will regarding the property I may have at my death in this country
Two sums of a hundred pounds each I have directed to be placed to my credit from the house of Smith London with Messrs. Ward King(H). New York by the month of December next those and such other funds as I may have in the hands of Messrs. Sublette & Campbell together with such effects as I may have I will and bequeath to Robert Campbell Esq to be disposed of in the following manner & two hundred dollars to the firm of Sublette & Campbell as an indemnification for the expense I have put them to on my account & Two hundred dollars to pay to the kin of Oliver Crop. Two hundred dollars to Charles Batille Esq 61 Broadway New York. One hundred dollars to Elizabeth Mason Montgomerie M.O. sister to Mr Albert Wells Mason. My Loudon rifle to Colonel Christie Esq. My watch to Kirkbright Milnor Charleston South Carolina & My Mules to Mr. Albert Wells Mason I request Robert Campbell Esq. aforesaid to act as my servitor & make him residuary legatee
